2001 Buick LeSabre Replace Fan Blower Motor
Before replacing the fan blower motor on a 2001 Buick LeSabre, it is wise to check the rest of the electrical circuit first. The most common reason for the blower motor to fail is the blower motor resister. This resister is perched in close proximity to the blower motor. In the LeSabre, it is located just to the left of the blower motor and mounted in the housing with two screws. Its function is to regulate the speeds of the motor.

 Replace Fan Blower Motor
- Remove the passenger side kick panel using a Phillips head screwdriver. Pull the rug back from under the blower motor to allow enough room to drop the blower motor without the rug interfering.
- Disconnect the electrical plug from the blower motor. Pull the rubber vent hose out of the blower motor.
- Remove all the Phillips head screws securing the blower motor to the housing. Drop the blower motor straight down.
- Install the new motor in reverse order of removal.
